Lets face it, getting the kids out the door is hard work and a little preparation will greatly reduce the stress!
Organization is the key to a stress free kids sports event. Find a large tote bag and lets get started!
1. SPORTS GEAR- The equipment needed will be sport specific. Please refer to your league instructions to see what equipment your child is required to bring. Do not hesitate- pack it now!
2. WATERPROOF BLANKET OR CHAIRS- How many times have you arrived at your kids sport to find there is no seating? Be prepared for anything by keeping folding chairs in your car. For families you like to save space, a waterproof blanket will keep you from sitting on the ground.
3. LETS EAT- It is a mystery why child are hungry the minute you walk out the door. I think they’re all hoping we’ll stop for some fast food! It is a good idea to have a few snacks in your kids sport bag. I include items that will stay fresh and not attract any unwanted insects. Granola bars, fruit snacks, invidually wrapped crackers or cookies along with a few bottles of water will save you a trip to the consession stand.
4. FIRST AID KIT- Yes it is true, kids think a band aid fixes everything.! Be prepared with a first aid kit that includes some sort of cleanser, first aid ointment, an instant ice pack and band aids. I include instant hand warmers and sun screen in mine as well.
5. EXTRA CLOTHES- you cannot count on spring weather to be warm enough for the short sleeve jerseys supplied by the team. Tuck a sweat shirt in your travel bag for those chilly morning and evening events.
Store your kids sport pack in your trunk so your ready to go. Nothing to remember equals nothing to forget!

You may not have read the book yet, but you probably have seen the movie. Just in case you missed either of them, this book elaborates on how you can use the law of attraction to fulfill each aspect of your life.
Your home should be an important piece of your life. Here are a few tips that you can use that will allow you to incorporate the principle “like attracts like” in order to get your home in order.
Visualize
Relax and focus on how you’d like your home to be. Visualize in as much detail as possible exactly how your home would look if it were organized the way you’d like it to be.
For example, try looking through several catalogs or magazines to find how you would like to express yourself through your home. Pictures can add much power to your imagery and will allow you to better focus.
Puts some power behind your focus and create different “maps” of your rooms. Create a drawing or a painting of the way you visualize each room. If you cannot draw then paste together magazine cutouts and put together a collage of your envisioned home.
Meditate
Some people don’t respond well to the word “meditate,” but in this case all it means is for you to focus on the images you’ve selected from the books and magazines or the ones you’ve created or even those in your mind.
Picture your room in as much detail as you can: Which furniture will you use and how will you arrange it? Is there light streaming through a window? Is the room warm and cozy or cool and airy? Do you prefer a particular scent in your rooms? Is the room neat and tidy with everything in its place?
Visualize everything where it needs to be.
Then picture how you would feel while being in these rooms. Are you relaxed? Warm and safe? Energized and organized?
Try doing this imagination exercise daily.
Now Execute Your Plan
Now that you have a good idea about what you want, it’s time to take some steps towards getting it.
Make a list of each specific action. You don’t have to work on the entire area in one shot. Break down each area into separate parts that are workable. Every time you complete a task you should feel a sense of accomplishment. Avoid getting burned out.
Review every goal on your list and then consider the time it will take to complete each one. With that in mind, set deadlines for each goal.
Also consider your daily goals and find out when you have time to accomplish each goal. This can be only 15 minutes. Make an appointment to get these complete.
Be consistent. Continue to stay committed, meditate daily, and keep your appointments.
Don’t rush your project, but just be dedicated to it. Try not to allow distractions to get you off track. If you get off track, then get up and continue on your course of action.
Keep at it and before you know it, you will have beautifully organized rooms just like you envisioned them.
